Our client is seeking a Manufacturing Layout Drafter with an Associate's degree, over two years of experience, and advanced 2D AutoCAD skills to lead site layout operations across two key facilities and help shape the future of manufacturing.

responsibilities:
- Own and maintain master 2D AutoCAD layouts for manufacturing lines, equipment placement, material flow, and support areas across two facility sites.
- Serve as the site subject matter expert and layout authority, ensuring drawings accurately reflect as-built conditions and approved future-state modifications.
- Manage drawing revision control, versioning, approval workflows, and drafting standards to maintain strict configuration control.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing Engineers, Facilities, EHS, and Operations to translate new product introductions and continuous improvement concepts into accurate layouts.
- Maintain a controlled drawing repository while auditing factory floors to proactively identify and resolve layout discrepancies.
qualifications:
Associate's degree or technical certification in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of experience producing 2D manufacturing or facility layouts with advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
Proven experience managing drawing revisions, configuration control, and document management practices in a manufacturing environment.
