responsibilities:
- Support daily construction operations on a $40M Tempo Hotel project in Virginia Beach, working onsite alongside project leadership and field personnel.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, construction drawings, and project documentation using Procore and Bluebeam.
- Coordinate with architects, subcontractors, and field teams to resolve design discrepancies, construction issues, and outstanding project requirements.
- Assist with project scheduling, tracking progress, identifying delays, and ensuring project milestones are met.
- Independently troubleshoot issues, drive solutions, and support project leadership with day-to-day field and administrative responsibilities.
qualifications:
-5 years of commercial construction experience, preferably as a Project Engineer; open to Assistant Superintendents or field leaders with strong project coordination experience.
-Experience managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and construction schedules; proficiency in Procore and Bluebeam required.
-Self-motivated problem solver capable of working independently in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
-Construction-related degree preferred but not required.
