We are searching for a Structural Designer to work for a client in Duffield, VA.
This is a direct hire role that provides great benefits(medical, dental, PTO, etc.) and relocation assistance for non-local candidates.

responsibilities:
- Responsible for the design, development, alteration, or modification of building drawings and structural systems.
- Breaks down information obtained from the bid letter, customer specification, customer supplied drawings and electrical designer drawings to do builing design.
- Perform a variety of calculations following standard procedures.
- Prepare work orders (detailed BOM) while drawings are in progress.
qualifications:
-BS in Civil Engineering is preferred
-E.I.T. preferred
-Experience with concrete and steel structural design
