In this role, you will bring your Bachelor of Science degree and 2 to 4 years of experience in medical device microbiology and sterilization to lead product transfer validations and environmental monitoring.

responsibilities:
- Support sterilization process validations, microbiological assessments, and environmental monitoring for orthopedic medical device product transfers.
- Author, review, and approve validation protocols, technical assessments, and final reports in compliance with cGMP and GDP standards.
- Coordinate technical activities and testing with external laboratories, contract sterilizers, and cross-functional project teams.
- Perform data trending and support investigations for out-of-specification or nonconforming environmental monitoring results.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and complete accurate technical documentation in alignment with safety and regulatory expectations.
qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Biology, Microbiology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
2 to 4 years of experience in a regulated medical device or healthcare environment supporting microbiology or sterilization assurance activities.
Practical knowledge of cGMP, Good Documentation Practices, USP- and ISO-based testing standards, and terminal sterilization validation methods.
