Responsibilities
- Accurate Order Processing: Rapidly and accurately input high volumes of B2B purchase orders, quotes, and invoices into the company's ERP or inventory management system.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming customer inquiries via phone and email regarding fastener availability, pricing, and manufacturing lead times.
- Cross-Departmental Coordination: Act as the daily liaison between the front office and the warehouse floor to ensure rush orders are prioritized and daily shipping cut-offs are met.
- Shipment Tracking & Logistics: Monitor outbound freight and parcel shipments, providing proactive updates, tracking information, and delivery confirmations to commercial clients.
- Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve order discrepancies, shipping delays, inventory shortages, or damaged product claims efficiently to maintain high client satisfaction.
- Data Maintenance: Continuously update and maintain accurate customer records, specialized pricing tiers, and billing information within the database.
- Documentation & Filing: Manage organized digital and physical filing systems for purchase orders, proof of delivery receipts, and vendor documentation.
- Sales Support: Assist the sales team by generating routine quotes, pulling historical order data for repeat clients, and processing Return Merchandise Authorizations
