Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute procurement strategies that balance lean inventory levels with aggressive production schedules.
- Team Development: Direct the daily activities of the SCM team, providing the mentorship and training necessary for long-term career growth within the department.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee the full lifecycle of MRP/ERP functions to forecast demand and allocate resources with precision.
- Supplier Synergy: Lead high-level contract negotiations to secure advantageous terms while maintaining risk-mitigated relationships with global vendors.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Engineering and Quality teams on APQP activities, including design reviews, pre-production trials, and successful production launches.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify market trends and supply chain risks to present proactive cost-saving and efficiency solutions to senior management.
