What You Bring to the Table
- Experience: At least 2 years of paralegal experience (Personal Injury or Civil Litigation experience is highly preferred).
- Credentials: An Associate’s degree or Certification in Paralegal Studies (or equivalent professional experience). Active Florida Notary Commission is required.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace is essential; must be comfortable learning new firm-specific software.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to parse complex medical or legal documents and provide clear summaries.
- Emotional Intelligence: A compassionate approach to client service, with the ability to maintain total confidentiality and exercise sound judgment under pressure.
- Organization: Exceptional time-management skills and the ability to pivot priorities in a high-energy office setting.

Responsibilities
- Capacity: Handle a high-volume workload (approx. 80 cases) simultaneously.
- Litigation Flow: Support cases through discovery, medical record summaries, mediation, and trial prep.
- Documentation: Prepare summaries and conduct research at the direction of the attorney.
- Organization: Maintain litigation files and a complex calendar of court dates and depositions.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in state and federal e-filing procedures.
- Communication: Maintain professional relationships with the bench, the bar, and clients.
- Versatility: Flexible approach to additional duties as assigned by management.
