Candidate Requirements
- Experience: A minimum of 3+ years of legal experience within Litigation is required.
- Specialization: Previous Insurance Defense experience is strongly preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced computer skills and comfort with legal software and e-filing portals.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional ability to multi-task and manage time-sensitive workloads independently.
- Professionalism: A positive attitude, proactive work ethic, and the ability to work exceptionally well with both clients and staff.

Responsibilities
As a Legal Assistant supporting our Insurance Defense practice, you will be the backbone of the litigation process. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Proactive Calendar Management: Mastering attorney schedules to ensure all deadlines are met without a hitch.
- Litigation Support: Coordinating and scheduling depositions, mediations, and hearings, often involving multiple parties and expert witnesses.
- Document Production: Preparing and formatting legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and responses specific to insurance defense.
- Court Filings: Managing electronic filings (e-filing) in both Florida State and Federal Courts.
- Communication Hub: Serving as a professional point of contact for clients, opposing counsel, and claims adjusters.
