We are seeking a focused and reliable Payroll Assistant to join our Omaha-based team. This role is essential to our plant operations, responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll while maintaining strict compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

• Experience: 1–3 years of professional Accounting experience is required.
  
  
• Detail-Oriented: Exceptional accuracy when handling large datasets and sensitive financial information.
  
  
• Communication: Ability to communicate clearly with both corporate partners and plant-floor personnel.
  
  
• Availability: Must be able to work 100% onsite in Omaha and commit to a contract through the end of the year.

Responsibilities

• Payroll Processing: Handle regular payroll cycles, ensuring all data is complete, accurate, and submitted within strict deadlines.
  
  
• Discrepancy Resolution: Research payroll issues and work closely with internal partners to resolve variances quickly.
  
  
• Weekly Reconciliation: Perform weekly reconciliations to ensure payroll systems, timekeeping records, and general ledger accounts stay perfectly aligned.
  
  
• Compliance & Audits: Execute record retention reviews to ensure all documentation meets company policies and legal requirements.
  
  
• Plant Support: Serve as a point of contact for plant personnel, responding to payroll inquiries and providing general administrative support as needed.
