This position offers a competitive base salary, a discretionary bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. To ensure a seamless transition, the role will begin fully onsite (5 days per week) during the initial training phase, later moving to a flexible hybrid schedule (3–4 days onsite).
We are seeking a candidate with:
- 7+ years of direct payroll experience.
- Working knowledge of Paycom and/or ADP Workforce Now.
- Proven experience managing wage and hour laws, garnishments, tax notices, and federal/state regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to address employee inquiries with professionalism.
- Full-Cycle Payroll: Manage weekly payroll for 2,000+ salaried and hourly employees.
- Reporting & Analysis: Maintain payroll reports, using Excel, ADP Workforce Now, and Paycom.
- Compliance & Auditing: Oversee accurate recordkeeping, manage payroll-related audits, and perform routine reconciliations to ensure financial precision.
- Deductions & Adjustments: Process garnishments, terminations, tax notices, and benefit changes with high attention to detail.
- Vendor Payments: Utilize payroll data to calculate and facilitate timely payments to benefit providers, including health and retirement plans.
- Internal Support: Serve as a primary point of contact for management and staff regarding payroll inquiries, performing ad hoc analysis and reporting as needed.
- Leadership: Supervisor 1 payroll staff member and provide guidance to plant management on payroll processes and best practices.
