You’ll be responsible for managing high-value accounts and identifying new market opportunities within the industrial and commercial building sectors. If you can speak the language of engineers, project managers, and procurement heads alike, we want to talk to you.
- Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years of outside sales experience, specifically within industrial manufacturing or construction building products (e.g., HVAC, structural steel, concrete additives, industrial machinery, or MEP systems).
- Track Record: Proven history of meeting or exceeding $2M+ annual sales quotas.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering is preferred; equivalent field experience will be considered.
- Technical Savvy: Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce/HubSpot) and the ability to interpret blueprints or technical CAD drawings.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel to job sites, manufacturing facilities, and client offices.
- Consultative Selling: You don't just sell a product; you solve a structural or operational problem.
- Negotiation: You can navigate complex, multi-layered contracts with procurement departments.
- Resilience: You understand that industrial sales cycles are long and require persistent follow-up.
- Communication: You can pivot from a boardroom presentation to a "boots on the ground" site visit seamlessly.

Responsibilities
- Business Development: Proactively identify and close new business opportunities within the industrial manufacturing and construction sectors.
- Account Strategy: Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring we are the primary partner for their long-term project needs.
- Technical Consultation: Serve as a subject matter expert, translating complex product specifications into value-driven solutions for clients.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust CRM pipeline, providing accurate weekly and monthly forecasts to executive leadership.
- Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor movements, and local building code changes to position our products effectively.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure custom orders meet client requirements and delivery timelines.
