Position Summary
Randstad is seeking a highly skilled Planner / Scheduler to develop, maintain, and optimize integrated project schedules and budgets for large-scale turnkey projects with our global power client. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring project timelines and resource allocations are maximized while maintaining strict compliance with regional and global standards. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in both scheduling and cost management tools, acting as a critical bridge between project execution and financial control.
Quality, Lean, & EHS
- Comply with global quality procedures, identify areas for process optimization, and participate in Kaizen or lean events.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to health and safety by adhering to safe working procedures and actively participating in resolving safety issues.
- The quality and accuracy of schedule and cost forecasting.
- Overall cost and schedule performance of assigned projects.
- Timeliness and transparency of project control reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Finance, Engineering (with financial training), or a related field.
- Software Proficiency: Excellent working experience with both Primavera P6 and SAP (planning and costing tools).
- Proficient analytical, organizational, and forensic analysis skills.
- 5+ years of experience planning large, complex turnkey projects.
- Experience acting as the Lead Planner on at least 2 turnkey projects.
- Demonstrated experience providing cost controlling on 2 or more large turnkey projects.
- Knowledge of forensic analysis techniques on large-scale projects.
- Nice to Have: Prior working experience within the electrification industry.

Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Cost Control
- Schedule & Budget Creation: Build tender integrated schedules and cost estimates. Establish project baselines and budgets within cost and scheduling software.
- Forecast & Trend Analysis: Maintain and update project schedules and cost forecasts throughout the project lifecycle. Analyze trends to provide accurate, proactive data to the project team.
- Risk & Change Management: Maintain detailed registers for potential schedule/cost risks as well as actual and committed costs. Provide precise change order calculations to ensure alignment with current scope.
- Financial Alignment: Check, control, and validate cost movements against scope and productivity factors. Partner with the Financial Controller to reconcile approved project data with official financial books.
- Reporting & Collaboration: Deliver transparent internal and external project status reports. Attend management reviews to present financial data and collaborate with third-party stakeholders.
- Leadership & Strategy: Oversee the planning function on major projects, leading teams of Project Cost Control analysts where applicable. Partner with functional cost owners to implement cost-reduction strategies.
