We’re partnering with a dynamic and purpose-driven organization in Rhode Island that is seeking a skilled accounting professional to lead key areas of financial operations and reporting. salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per year

Responsibilities

Lead the preparation, analysis, and presentation of timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP.  Conduct detailed variance analyses and ensure effective tracking of revenue and expenses.  Drive the development, implementation, and continual improvement of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to protect company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.  Support the VP of Finance in the annual review process by preparing financial schedules and responding to audit inquires.  Remain up to date on evolving accounting standards, and industry best practices to maintain compliance.  Manage daily cash flow and treasury functions.  Contribute to the formulation and execution of strategies that enhance financial resoure planning and utilization.  Play a key role in the design and documentation of efficient accounting processes and internal control systems.  Serve as a liason to external stakeholders including auditors, financial institutions, regulatory bodies.  Foster collaborative relationships to ensure smooth financial operations and uphold the integrity of financial reporting.
