Are you a SME within the Investment Separate Managed Accounts Accounting, Financial Analysis, and Financial Reporting space?  Do you enjoy getting into the details, working with details, and providing internal and external reporting to stakeholders?  This consulting opportunity offers up a variety of accountabilities/initiatives that have you interacting with a variety of Asset Management Companies, preparing and overseeing multiple accounting and analysis tasks, reviewing and auditing current state, and collaborating with Sr. Management regarding risk mitigation and process improvements.  If you have the SMA  Accounting and Financial Reporting and Analysis expertise along with a passion and desire to make an immediate impact,  this is the Consulting role for you!  Due to the impact you will have on the team, the Director is requesting 3 days a week on-site for the most impactful value.  FREE PARKING is available through the remainder of 2025.  

salary: $45 - $48.25 per hour

Responsibilities

• Execute relevant accounting, analysis, and oversight tasks related to Individual/Group Life and Annuity Variable Products for Separately Managed Accounts
• Prepare, review, and audit multiple stages of the Financial Reporting Cycle
• Interact and collaborate with external business partners relating to the calculation of daily unit values and the net asset values for all variable products of the thousands of Separate Managed Accounts
• Prepare, review, and monitor investment portfolio performance calculations and reporting
• Prepare, review, and audit multiple stages of the Green Book Filings for the NAIC
• Analyze and interpret financial results with Sr. Management to ensure best practices and performance
• Immerse into daily accounting and financial processes
• Document, test, and certify procedures
• Implement process improvements
• Reach out via phone and email to Fund Companies to complete the needed confirmations
• Owning and running multiple ad-hoc strategic projects
