We are seeking a hands-on, highly organized Shop Manager to lead day-to-day operations at our truck maintenance shop. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing workflow, supervising a team of 4–5 skilled mechanics, managing parts inventory, and helping build the shop’s customer base in the Savannah area. This is a key leadership role with long-term potential for the right candidate.

salary: $75,000 - $95,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 7 AM - 5 PM
education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the truck maintenance shop, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
• Supervise and support a team of 4–5 mechanics; assign work orders and monitor job progress
• Coordinate scheduling, handle service appointments, and respond to customer inquiries
• Manage and track inventory of parts and supplies; place orders as needed
• Maintain accurate records of service orders, inventory, and shop operations in the system
• Ensure safety protocols are followed and the shop remains clean and organized
• Contribute to business growth by helping attract and retain new customers locally
• Prior experience in a supervisory or management role in a shop or maintenance setting
• Knowledge of trucks, equipment, and general mechanical operations (prior mechanic experience a plus, but not required)
• Organizational and communication skills
• Comfortable leading a team in a collaborative, respectful environment
