About the Role:
We are hiring a Production Supervisor to join our 2nd shift operations at a fast-paced manufacturing facility. This is a great opportunity for someone with some experience leading a team—whether in a formal supervisory role or as a team lead—who’s ready to step into a leadership position with clear potential for advancement.
The ideal candidate has a technical mindset, is confident directing others on the floor, and is eager to grow within a company that values leadership development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support a team of production associates to ensure daily targets are met
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity on the floor
- Coordinate shift activities, monitor performance, and assist with scheduling or workflow as needed
- Act as a point of contact between workers and upper management during the 2nd shift
- Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate on process improvements
- Uphold and enforce safety protocols and company policies
- Provide hands-on support and set the pace for your team through example
- Contribute to reporting and documentation related to production goals or incidents
- 1+ years of experience in a supervisory, team lead, or lead operator role
- Background in manufacturing, production, or technical operations
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working independently during second shift hours
- Able to give direction, motivate a team, and manage priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Engineering or mechanical background is a plus
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
- Pay ranges from $21–$28/hour, depending on experience and education
- Higher end of range offered for candidates with degrees or technical/leadership experience
- Clear path to advancement for high performers

Responsibilities
- Assist in daily supervision of production staff (6–10 employees) to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor and support shift operations to meet production, quality, and safety goals
- Provide hands-on floor support to address issues, troubleshoot problems, and support team performance
- Help coordinate shift handovers and maintain clear communication with other supervisors
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety protocols, and operational procedures
- Track productivity metrics and report progress to operations leadership
- Participate in training and development activities to prepare for future advancement
- Support a positive and collaborative team culture, promoting accountability and continuous improvement
