Overview: A Fortune 100 technology powerhouse is seeking a Strategic Procurement Manager to provide category leadership and strategic sourcing expertise across one or more procurement areas. This remote role will drive end-to-end sourcing strategy, vendor negotiations, and performance management—impacting procurement operations across multiple organizations and global markets.

Responsibilities
Provides strategic direction for one or more procurement categories which may span across multiple organizations and/or geographies.
May be accountable for one or more of the following activities:
- Category business needs assessment, development of overall category plan, execution of strategic sourcing activities (including development of RFx, vendor response analysis and contract negotiations) in line with category plan resulting in formal broad agreements with preferred category vendors, and development of vendor performance management plan for preferred vendors.
- Position will require contact with all levels of management and with vendors providing or bidding to provide services to the organization.
