Hiring Immediately!! The Quality Assurance Engineer – Level I plays a key role in interpreting customer requirements, maintaining the AS9100-certified quality management system, and ensuring internal and external compliance through inspection planning, documentation, and process improvements. This position supports new product introductions and continuous improvement efforts across the organization.

salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per year

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret customer engineering drawings, specs, models, and quality requirements; ensure accurate translation to internal work instructions and supplier POs
  
  
• Conduct customer requirement decompositions and document any system gaps, assisting with corrective actions
  
  
• Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) meetings and risk assessments
  
  
• Resolve quality or technical issues in coordination with Planning and Sales
  
  
• Perform and document First Article Inspections in compliance with AS9102 standards
  
  
• Utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques, including control chart creation and updates
  
  
• Support and present data analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activities to management
  
  
• Collaborate with Planning, Engineering, Quality Control, and Sales on a regular basis to ensure product conformance
  
  
• interpersonal and listening skills; ability to work in a diverse team environment
  
  
• Competence in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  
  
• Understanding of AS9100 QMS standards and practices
  
  
• Familiarity with First Article Inspection (AS9102)
  
  
• Detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving skills
