We're searching for a Remote Business Development Manager to spearhead sales for an exciting, growing filtration technologies business. This full-time role offers daylight hours and a competitive pay.
While this position is remote and can be based anywhere in the U.S., preference will be given to candidates near Monroeville, PA. Be prepared for significant travel, approximately 75%, as you build relationships and secure new opportunities.
What you'll do:
- Generate significant revenues, aiming for at least $1 million within 12 months and over $10 million within five years.
- Convert current membrane-based filter customers and expand into new industrial water markets by clarifying value propositions.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams to identify and qualify prospective customers.
- Work across various internal functions to strategize customer outreach, distribution solutions, and technical support.
- Embrace an entrepreneurial mindset, taking ownership of all actions leading to sales and profitability.
What you'll bring:
- A Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- At least 5 years of external product sales experience, preferably in a field-based, home office environment.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience selling Membrane-based Filtration technology (e.g., PVDF, Ceramic, PAN, PES, or PTFE) and spiral-wound or pleated filter technologies.
- A strong passion for creating new business and a desire to be part of a "ground-floor" opportunity.

• Work extensively across PPG functions to determine how best to reach prospective customers, to consider multiple distribution solutions and to provide technical support. Demonstrate entrepreneurial approach, acting as a small business owner to take responsibility for all actions leading to sales and profitability of the business.
