Seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial operations for a custom manufacturing company. Responsibilities include overseeing all accounting operations, job costing, compliance, and staff supervision. Requires a degree in accounting/finance, Sage 100 Contractor proficiency, and job costing knowledge. 

salary: $31.25 - $33.65 per hour

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations including A/R, A/P, payroll, general ledger, and bank/credit card reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate and timely year-end close processes.
• Maintain compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies.
• Monitor project/job costs, analyze variances, and track forecasting to ensure alignment with budgets and profitability goals.
• Review monthly financial statements, job cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and budget variance analyses.
• Coordinate tax filings and insurance reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with state and federal tax regulations and industry standards.
• Supervise and support accounting staff, fostering continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
