In this role, you will:
- Extract and prepare monthly invoices for government clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor and track costs applied to contracts, maintaining clear and up-to-date records.
- Work directly with program and cost center managers to ensure employee hours are accurately accounted for and filed.
- Obtain necessary manager approvals for invoices before submission to customers. What you'll bring:
- 5+ years of experience in cost accounting, demonstrating a deep understanding of financial principles.
- Experience with the billing of government contracts, including Time & Materials (T&M), Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), and Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF).
- Proficiency with JAMIS or Deltek accounting systems is a must.
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting contract invoicing terms.
- The ability to research and resolve problems independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and consistently meet critical deadlines.
