Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting & Budgeting: Collaborate with program staff to create and submit budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. Process grant documents and maintain accurate financial data in various systems.
- Grant & Funder Management: Prepare and submit reports to funders, ensuring compliance with grant terms. Process grant and sponsorship agreements and update grant management systems.
- Financial Analysis: Provide timely and accurate financial analysis, tracking performance against budgets and forecasts. Conduct monthly reviews with program teams to discuss financial performance.
- System & Data Management: Use and become proficient in multiple financial systems (e.g., Planful, NetSuite) for accounting, budgeting, and grant management. Maintain and develop financial models and templates.
- Audit & Compliance: Support year-end audits and other grant audits. Monitor costs and ensure proper accounting procedures are followed.
