Responsibilities
Case Analysis and Development
- Review client records, conduct research, and analyze evidence to develop legal arguments for claims.
- Review and interpret medical records and other documents for relevance to the case.
- Compose legal arguments and professional correspondence as directed.
- Work collaboratively with attorneys and other firm staff.
- Review client files to determine case status and initiate necessary action.
- Update clients on case status in a timely manner.
- Update the firm's case management system, calendars, and databases.
- Contact the Primary Government Agency for case status updates and to resolve issues.
- Respond to communication from clients, the public, and government agencies.
- Prepare presentations and reports.
- Field incoming telephone inquiries for legal services.
- Provide backup for Legal Assistant duties
