Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Department Director, managing advanced scheduling, coordinating all travel arrangements, and handling other logistical needs.
 - Lead the day-to-day administration of assigned programs, including determining implementation strategies, administrative processes, and coordinating with staff and external partners.
 - Serve as a technical program resource, explaining program features, policies, and qualifying criteria to staff, regional offices, and members, with a focus on civil rights initiatives.
 - Write, develop, and edit a variety of professional correspondence, reports, program documents, and web/digital content for both internal and external audiences, including Executive Leadership and civil rights community partners.
 - Manage program financial administration, including processing invoices, consultant vouchers, and travel vouchers; tracking expenditures; reconciling accounts; and preparing financial reports.
 - Coordinate and plan logistics for internal and external conferences, meetings, and training sessions, including site selection, material development, on-site support, and providing technological webinar support.
 - Develop and maintain various tracking systems and databases for departmental reports, grant programs, and fiscal resources, synthesizing information into usable formats for intended audiences.
