Qualifications Software Expertise: Proven experience with Deltek Costpoint and JAMIS is required.
GovCon Experience: Familiarity with government contracting compliance, including GAAP or IFRS standards.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) for data analysis and reporting.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Responsibilities
- Invoice Generation & Submission: Generate and distribute accurate monthly Accounts Receivable invoices for government and commercial contracts using Deltek Costpoint and JAMIS.
- Contract Compliance: Review contract awards and modifications to ensure billing is in strict accordance with federal requirements and internal audit standards.
- Reconciliation & Analysis: Perform routine reconciliations of unbilled receivables and research discrepancies between the General Ledger and project billing.Account Maintenance: Manage the end-to-end Accounts Receivable process, including posting cash receipts, managing aged AR reports, and resolving delinquent accounts.
- Internal Collaborations: Partner with Project Managers and the compliance team to establish clear lines of ownership regarding project communications and funding burn-rates.Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly funding status reports, contract deliverables, and ad-hoc client reports regarding financial health and expense disbursements.
- Audit Support: Assist in gathering documentation and providing fact-finding support for third-party, internal, and yearly financial audits.Process Improvement: Help develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline the billing cycle and improve data integrity within the accounting systems.
