Responsibilities
- Assist the utilization management team with ongoing tracking and documentation of authorizations and referrals, ensuring compliance with all policies and guidelines.
- Contribute to the review process by gathering and documenting essential medical information—such as patient history, diagnosis, and prognosis—to assist clinical reviewers in making determinations.
- Ensure all authorization requests are processed properly and within strict contractual timelines.
- Stay up-to-date on evolving healthcare regulations, authorization processes, and internal policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and comply with all organizational standards.
