In this remote, five-month temporary role, you will serve as a strategic storyteller, synthesizing research to produce persuasive proposals that secure leadership for prestigious institutions across the country. Working 40 hours per week, you will report to the Executive Director for Client Development, turning complex data into professional, high-stakes narratives. Responsibilities

• Proposal Development: Review complex Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to identify success requirements and submit clarifying questions to prospective clients.
  
  
• Timeline Management: Create and strictly adhere to proposal development schedules that incorporate multiple levels of internal review.
  
  
  
  
• Strategic Research: Conduct deep-dive research into the mission, financial health, and strategic plans of prospective colleges and universities.
  
  
  
  
• Market Analysis: Track current events and trends in higher education to ensure proposals are responsive to the specific challenges facing clients.
  
  
  
  
• Content Creation: Write and edit compelling, cohesive new content while refining existing materials for maximum impact.
  
  
  
  
• Document Integrity: Review and edit multiple drafts for clarity to produce a highly professional, polished finished product.
  
  
  
  
• Database Management: Accurately input data into the firm’s database and run/format reports for integration into active proposals.
  
  
  
  
• Content Archiving: Store and archive RFPs and proposals while regularly updating biographical sketches, resumes, and case studies.
  
  
  
  
• Prospect Cultivation: Support the identification of new RFP opportunities and track outstanding proposals to collect feedback.
  
  
  
  
• Coordination: Assist in scheduling interviews with prospective clients and managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
