National company is expanding and has immediate openings for a Hardware Technician, located in Chippewa Falls, WI. Work with cutting edge technology in a fast paced environment where you will be challenged each day. This position will involve a range of responsibilities including installation of systems, hardware repairs within a computer lab environment, computer system builds following detailed specifications. Basic troubleshooting and debug activities, and other activities as needed. The right canidate will have an opportunity to learn new skills while executing in a professional and freindly work environment. 

salary: $40,000 - $45,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble computer systems and servers in a controlled lab environment
  
  
• Install, configure, and validate hardware components according to detailed specifications
  
  
• Troubleshoot hardware issues, diagnose failures, and perform corrective actions
  
  
• Install and handle server‑class and data‑center‑grade components
  
  
• Follow written and verbal instructions, including cable diagrams and build documentation
  
  
• Conduct system testing at multiple stages of the manufacturing process to ensure products meet quality and performance standards
  
  
• Perform firmware updates and accurately document all changes and revisions
  
  
• Maintain up‑to‑date production records by entering test results and system data into internal databases with precision
  
  

The Successful Candidate Will Have

• An associate degree or equivalent hands‑on technical experience
  
  
• Proven computer skills and comfort working with hardware
  
  
• Experience in a Linux environment (preferred but not required)
  
  
• Solid time‑management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  
  

This is an immediate, Full Time position in Chippewa Falls, WI with complete compensation package.
