Position Summary The Customer Account Manager oversees nutrition business operations with commercial brokers, distributors, and salvage outlets. This role involves managing category growth to meet annual sales and commercial spend targets. Responsibilities include activating the nutrition portfolio at strategic customer locations and maintaining communication with procurement and supply chain teams.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations for commercial and salvage accounts.
- Establish business relationships with buyers and secure product expansion.
- Develop annual product plans and initial field forecasts.
- Report sales expenses and manage regional budgets.
- Work with the Commercial Development Organization to implement category plans based on growth drivers.
- Present new item plans and identify market trends or competitor activity.
- Execute sales and trade targets through negotiation.
- Communicate with customers regarding service levels, distribution, and product quality.
- Identify gaps between customer plans and feedback to propose resolutions.
- Monitor KPIs including sales volume, customer service levels, and in-stock percentages.
- 5+ years of sales experience in customer management or commercial development.
- Experience in the fruit or vegetable industry.
- History of results in sales and market share.
- Knowledge of pricing, promotion, assortment, and merchandising fundamentals.
- Understanding of Integrated Commercial Planning (ICP) and Monthly Business Planning processes.
- Knowledge of channel and shopper trends.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Skills in business mathematics and data analysis.
- Ability to use capability tools for professional development.

• Working closely with the Sr. Director to maximize execution at store level
• Reporting and effectively managing all sales expenses and budgets for the region
• Work with Commercial Development Organization on development of customer-specific category plans anchored in the category growth drivers
