As a Quality Technician, you will plan and execute activities that maintain industry-leading quality standards:
- Drive Process Improvement: Perform statistical analyses and tooling reliability tests to ensure processes consistently meet and exceed customer specifications.
- Lead & Empower: Direct team members in product testing, tabulate quality data, and coordinate recognition programs that reward staff for innovative process improvements.
- Develop & Train: Create cutting-edge standards for inspection, compile comprehensive training materials, and lead training sessions on quality control and first-article inspection procedures.
- Ensure Precision: Test, calibrate, and maintain electrical, mechanical, and electronic measuring instruments.
- Collaborate with Engineering: Speak clearly and work directly with the engineering team to formulate evaluation plans, devise mathematical formulas for calibrations, and maintain equipment accuracy.
- Hands-On Inspection: Verify specified dimensions, measure parts for strict conformity, and meticulously identify and mark defective parts.
- Education/Experience: High School Diploma or Equivalent; OR a minimum of six months of related manufacturing/quality experience.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in MAC-PAC, Database Management, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access).
- Analytical Mindset: Advanced math skills and the ability to formulate and solve complex measurement problems.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds when comparing products with parts lists or sample models.
- Meticulous Nature: Unwavering accuracy, thoroughness, and the ability to self-monitor your work during testing and calibration sequences.

Responsibilities
Perform statistical analysis and study to determine if the current processes are meeting the customer specifications.
Perform repeatability and reliability tests on tooling.
Coordinate programs to recognize and reward groups or individuals for suggestions and actions related to process
improvement.
Direct workers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product or process
quality and reliability.
Develop and initiate standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation.
Compile and write training material and conduct training sessions on quality control activities.
Provide training in the use of measuring equipment and proper procedure for first article inspection.
Monitor own work to ensure quality during testing sequences and calibration procedures for instruments and equipment.
Test and calibrate electrical, mechanical, electromechanical and electronic measuring instruments and equipment for
conformance to established standards. Assist in formulating calibration standards.
Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness when measuring parts for conformity and specifications.
Use advanced math skills when devising formulas to solve problems with measurements and calibrations.
Speak clearly when assisting Engineers in formulating test, calibration, repair and evaluation plans and procedures to
maintain precision accuracy of measuring, recording and indicating instruments and equipment.
