The Talent & Engagement Coordinator serves as a critical bridge between our premium automotive processing operations and our workforce. This role requires a professional who can balance the high-standard environment of the Mercedes-Benz Vehicle Preparation Center (VPC) with the fast-paced logistical demands of the Amports Dundalk terminal. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of the employee experience, from conducting initial orientations to providing ongoing on-the-floor coaching and engagement.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

• Onboarding & Orientation: Lead 9:00AM Orientation at the Amports Dundalk location. Ensure all new hires receive a professional, comprehensive introduction to site protocols and safety standards.
• Strategic Recruiting: Partner directly with the Mercedes-Benz Site Manager to source, screen, and interview candidates. You will be responsible for identifying talent that meets the specific quality standards required for luxury vehicle handling.
• Employee Engagement & Counseling: Spend the majority of your time at the Mercedes-Benz VPC facility. Maintain a visible presence on the floor to engage with talent, address personnel concerns, and provide professional counseling regarding attendance and performance.
• Regulatory Compliance: Facilitate the application and maintenance of the TWIC Card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) to ensure unescorted access to secure port zones for yourself and the workforce.

Personnel Administration: Utilize Excel and digital site tools to maintain accurate personnel rosters, track attendance, and provide real-time updates on recruitment metrics to leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience in a high-touch recruitment or employee relations role, preferably in a logistics or automotive environment.
• Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to provide constructive counseling and lead group orientations.
