The Opportunity We are looking for a high-level Fulfillment Planner to join our team in Buffalo. In this role, you aren't just moving boxes—you are the architect of our inventory movement. You will own the deployment strategy, ensuring our distribution centers stay balanced, our trucks stay full, and our customers get exactly what they need. This role is critical to our Galileo project work and offers a deep dive into complex logistics optimization.
What You’ll Do
- Strategic Deployment: Develop SKU-level deployment strategies based on real-time demand and production plans.
- Systems Mastery: Plan and manage purchase orders within SAP and leverage Blue Yonder for Stock Transfer Orders (STOs).
- Inventory & Capacity Logic: Monitor 14-day warehouse outlooks to prevent gridlock, prioritize inbounds during constraints, and analyze inventory to minimize spoilage.
- Performance Management: Track inventory health, manage shortage reports, and develop actionable plans to improve customer order fill rates.
- Logistics Optimization: Maximize freight utilization on every transfer and coordinate with 3rd party transportation providers to ensure efficiency.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of logistical planning experience is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Excel proficiency is a must. Experience with SAP (ECC or S4 Hana) and Blue Yonder is highly preferred.
- Analytical Power: Statistical and spreadsheet analytical skills with a basic understanding of financial analysis.

Responsibilities
- Capacity & Production Planning: * Manage and develop the capacity planning models for 3-5 manufacturing facilities.
- Conduct monthly Supply Agreement process for designated manufacturing facilities and product categories in support of Sales and Operations Planning Process.
- Establish inventory planning and production scheduling parameters to be executed by Master Production Schedulers within each supply facility.
- Conduct monthly Supply Agreement process for designated manufacturing facilities and product categories in support of Sales and Operations Planning Process.
- Financial & Inventory Management: * Manage working capital investments (raw materials, conversion, and finished goods) for designated production facilities to achieve lowest total delivered cost.
- Analyze and review inventory stocking policies and strategies quarterly in order to minimize spoilage, maximize service, and maximize inventory turns.
- Analyze inventory investment costs and trends to ensure they are in alignment with departmental and company objectives.
- Provide inventory management for selected Contract Manufactured products.
