Are you a communicative, detail-oriented professional with a passion for patient care? Randstad is helping our client find a dedicated Medical Front Desk specialist to join our high-volume practice supporting 18 physicians. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and empathetic experience from the moment they walk through our doors.

salary: $17 - $17.01 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5:30 PM

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Patient Coordination: Manage high-volume check-ins and check-outs in a fast-paced environment.
  
  
• Financial Handling: Collect co-pays and process past-due balances accurately.
  
  
• Insurance Verification: Verify both private and government insurance plans to ensure coverage accuracy.
  
  
• Data Management: Utilize EMR for scheduling and patient records.
  
  
• Communication: Serve as a bridge between patients and clinical staff with professionalism and empathy.
  
  

What You’ll Need

• Experience: Previous experience in a medical office setting is required.
  
  
• Skills: understanding of insurance verification and front-desk coordination.
  
  
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, attention to detail, and a naturally empathetic approach to customer service.
  
  
• Tech-Savvy: Experience with EMR systems 
  
  
• Flexibility: Ability to work a varying Friday schedule and rotated Saturday schedule and occasionally support our other office if needed.
  
  
• Attendance: We need you at work!  Our patients need you!
