We are currently interviewing for a detail-oriented payroll specialist for a contract role to help ensure the accurate and timely processing of our client’s payroll functions while maintaining strict compliance with tax laws and labor regulations. Additional skillsets include multistate payroll, garnishments, biweekly payroll processing, and unemployment benefits. Responsibilities

• Execute full-cycle payroll across multiple states, ensuring precise localized tax withholding, unemployment insurance filings, and strict adherence to varying state-specific labor laws and overtime regulations.
• Manage the full cycle of bi-weekly and monthly payroll for all employees, including the calculation of wages, tax withholdings, benefit deductions, and garnishments.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy for federal, state, and local tax filings while managing digital records for year-end reporting ($W-2$ and $1099$ forms)
• You must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (or equivalent experience) and at least 3 years of experience using automated payroll systems like ADP, Workday, or Paychex
