Responsibilities
- Logistics Coordination: Support the scheduling of truck bays and reefer plug-ins, ensuring drivers and carriers have necessary documentation for smooth transitions.
- Documentation & Compliance: Preparing essential export/import documents, ocean manifests, and BOLs (Bills of Lading), Manage electronic logs, USDA/FDA inspection paperwork, and BRC-certified food safety records.
- Data Entry & Integrity: Reconciling inbound and outbound receipts to ensure the digital inventory matches the physical pallets.
- Inventory Integrity: Assist with auditing cycle counts and investigate discrepancies within the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure 100% inventory accuracy.
- Billing/Invoicing: Processing freight bills, accessorial charges, and month-end closing tasks.
- Internal Support: Run daily production and KPI reports for the Director of Operations to track labor productivity and energy usage.
- Inspection Coordination: Assisting with the scheduling and documentation for on-site USDA and FDA inspectors.
- Communication Hub: Serve as the primary point of contact between the warehouse floor and the front office/Customer Service team.
- Office Management: Maintain site-specific administrative needs, including supply ordering, visitor safety orientations
