Responsibilities
- Recording Transactions: Diligently logging daily financial activities, including sales, receipts, and payments.
- Maintaining the General Ledger: Keeping the master set of accounts updated and organized.
- Bank Reconciliation: Comparing the company’s internal records against bank statements to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
- Managing Payables (AP): Processing invoices from vendors, ensuring bills are paid on time, and looking for early-payment discounts.
- Managing Receivables (AR): Creating and sending invoices to clients, tracking overdue payments, and following up on collections.
- Expense Tracking: Reconciling employee credit card statements and reimbursing out-of-pocket business expenses.
