The Role: As the Plant Supervisor, you are the leader of the facility. Your mission is to ensure the plant runs safely, profitably, and efficiently while fostering a positive, supportive work environment where employees can grow. Key Responsibilities Operations & Finance:Oversee the plant’s P&L, budgeting, and investment planning. You’ll manage capacity, logistics, and warehouse operations. Safety & Quality: Ensure 100% compliance with OSHA safety standards and maintain high-quality production levels. Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and develop staff. You’ll be responsible for performance reviews, goal setting, and building a confident, collaborative team culture. Continuous Improvement: Implement "OPEX" (Operational Excellence) initiatives to reduce waste and improve machine efficiency (**OEE**). Customer Success: Maintain existing client accounts and ensure top-tier customer service. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: At least 5 years of leadership experience, ideally in plastic manufacturing. Skills: proficient technical aptitude, a basic understanding of corporate finance, and proven team-building skills. Mindset: You are resilient, adaptable, and a "nimble learner" who focuses on both customer needs and talent development.
