Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Invoice Processing: Review, code, and process vendor invoices within NetSuite efficiently and accurately.
- Accuracy Verification: Ensure vendor invoices are error-free and mapped to the appropriate general ledger accounts.
- Vendor Relations: Manage communications with vendors, resolve billing discrepancies, and respond to payment inquiries.
- Support & Resolution: Investigate billing questions to deliver timely and precise solutions to internal teams and stakeholders.
- Administrative Operations: Assist with various accounts payable duties and ad-hoc financial projects as needed.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 to 4 years of hands-on Accounts Payable experience.
- Software Skills: Proven track record using ERP systems, with a strong preference for NetSuite expertise.
- Environmental Fit: Prior experience working within a research, biotech, or laboratory setting is highly desirable.
- Analytical Skills: Deep understanding of project-based contracts, change orders, and invoicing, combined with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Collaboration & Service: Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer service orientation and the ability to partner cross-functionally.
- Technical Aptitude: Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite with a demonstrated ability to quickly master new software and systems.
- Work Style: Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work autonomously, and drive tasks from start to finish.
