Responsibilities
- Tax Compliance: Manage and ensure the accuracy of IRS forms 1042 and 1099, as well as California Form 590.
- Vendor Management: Oversee vendor onboarding and maintenance, ensuring all tax documentation is current and compliant with state and federal regulations.
- Data Reconciliation: Utilize advanced Excel skills to perform complex data reconciliations and financial analysis.
- Workflow Efficiency: Meet strict weekly and monthly deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy in a high-volume corporate setting.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in Accounts Payable, Tax Compliance, or Vendor Management.
- Technical Knowledge: Proven familiarity with withholding taxes and reporting (1042, 1099, CA 590).
- Software: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, etc.) and experience with financial ERP systems.
- Attributes: Analytical mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to pivot between tasks in a dynamic corporate environment.
