About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist. This role is critical in ensuring the companies employees are paid accurately and their compliance standards remain top-tier. You will be the primary steward of their payroll data, focusing on audits, reporting, and policy implementation.
Core Responsibilities
- Audit & Compliance: Conduct comprehensive payroll audits and prepare internal/external reports. Ensure strict adherence to labor laws, including pay data and benefit reporting for ACA, COBRA, IRS, FLSA, EEOC, and local tax requirements.
- Regulatory Reporting: Perform annual compliance reporting, including the preparation and submission of required regulatory reports with high accuracy and timely recordkeeping.
- System Expert: Manage all tasks exclusively within Ceridian/Dayforce. Experience with other HCM systems will not be considered for this specific role.
- Policy Development: Developing and documenting payroll and benefits policies that align with company goals.
- Workflow Optimization: Collaborating with service providers to implement software improvements and develop best-practice workflows.
- Training: Conducting payroll and benefits training for new hires and providing ongoing support as needed.
- Proven experience in payroll administration and benefits compliance.
- Expert-level proficiency in Ceridian/Dayforce is mandatory. (3 Years)

Responsibilities

- Collaborate as a team with service providers in implementing software and developing appropriate workflows to ensure best practices and established.
- Conduct training for payroll and benefits for new hires and on-going as needed.
