• 3–5+ years of full-charge bookkeeping experience
• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop or Online)
• Experience with Excel (lookups and formulas) is highly preferred
• A solid grasp of GAAP and a working knowledge of Kentucky-specific payroll tax regulations

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily financial entries, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger maintenance.
• Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure every penny is accounted for.
• Handle internal payroll cycles, including tax filings, withholdings, and benefit deductions.
• Prepare monthly financial statements (Balance Sheets and P&L) for the leadership team to review.
• Collaborate with the external CPA to prepare for annual tax filings and audits.
