In this position, you will play a critical role in ensuring product availability, minimizing supply disruptions, and driving customer satisfaction through proactive inventory management and trade compliance oversight.
Primary Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing: Identify domestic and global supply sources and lead fact-based negotiations to optimize product costs.
- Operational Excellence: Manage daily purchasing activities and maintain ERP data integrity regarding lead times, pricing, and planning.
- Supply Continuity: Monitor upstream risks to mitigate disruptions, reduce backorders, and maintain peak customer fill rates.
- Trade & Logistics: Oversee import/export compliance, manage trade documentation, and conduct detailed landed cost analysis.
- Inventory Control: Balance stock levels to align with demand while minimizing excess exposure through strategic expediting.
- Collaboration: Partner with Sales and Product Development to align supply chains with shifting market forecasts and demand initiatives.
- Experience: 5–10 years in Purchasing and Logistics (Global experience highly preferred) or a relevant Bachelor’s degree.
- Technical Savvy: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analytics and significant experience with ERP systems.
- Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to manage complex supplier relationships and drive cost-saving initiatives.
- Analytical Mindset: Capability in financial modeling and logistics research.
- Adaptability: A forward-thinking mindset with the ability to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales and Product Development to align supply with forecast changes and upcoming demand initiatives.
