- Pay Range: $17.00 – $25.00 per hour

- Project & Job Cost Accounting: Maintain accurate ledgers for multiple active projects; monitor budgets vs. actuals to ensure project profitability.
- AIA Billing: Prepare and submit monthly progress billings using AIA G702/G703 forms, ensuring timely submission to owners and architects.
- Revenue Recognition: Manage project accounting utilizing the Percentage of Completion (POC) method.
- Equipment Costing: Track and allocate costs associated with heavy equipment, including maintenance, fuel, and internal rental rates across various jobsites.
- Sage 100 Management: Execute all daily accounting functions within Sage 100 Contractor, including AP/AR, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.
- Compliance: Manage subcontractor insurance certificates, lien waivers, and certified payroll reporting as required.
- Software Expertise: Extensive, hands-on experience with Sage 100 Contractor is a strict requirement.
- Industry Knowledge: Proven track record in construction accounting (Job Costing is essential).
- Technical Skills: Deep understanding of the Percentage of Completion accounting method.
- Proficiency in generating and managing AIA documents.
- Experience tracking asset depreciation and usage costs for heavy machinery.
- Proficiency in generating and managing AIA documents.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to spot discrepancies in complex vendor invoices or labor allocations before they impact the bottom line.
- Experience with prevailing wage and certified payroll.
- Communication skills for coordinating with Project Managers and Field Superintendents.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
