Position Overview We are seeking a organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our global packaging manufacturer client in Salinas, CA. In this role, you will serve as the backbone of daily office operations, ensuring smooth administrative workflows and supporting our team with day-to-day tasks.

Minimum Qualifications To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of prior experience working in an Administrative Assistant or similar clerical role.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency and hands-on skill with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Core Competencies: Proven experience managing calendars, coordinating travel arrangements, and maintaining polished, professional communication.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED minimum required.
- Location: Ability to work on-site at our Salinas, CA office Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
As an Administrative Assistant, your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Calendar & Meeting Management: Manage complex calendars and arrange group meetings for the team. Organize events, programs, and large meetings by booking facilities, coordinating catering, issuing invitations, managing speakers, and tracking budgets.
- Communication & Correspondence: Answer and route phone calls, managing telephone coverage for key team members. Type, design, and proofread general correspondence, presentations, and confidential documents.
- Office Operations: Maintain both hard-copy and electronic filing systems, ensuring administrative processes are fully documented. Manage incoming/outgoing mail distribution for directors and managers, and oversee office supply inventory.
- Account Support: Assist with account forecasting processes, manage and coordinate promotion programs, and execute basic shipment orders as needed.
- Collaboration & Special Projects: Partner with administrative staff across other departments to achieve organizational goals and support special projects or team assignments.
