The Opportunity Are you a sharp, autonomous gaming finance professional who feels trapped behind a desk at a massive corporate casino? Do you want to actually "own" your operation, call the shots locally, and escape the corporate micromanagement cycle?
Randstad is a premier executive search firm representing a high-growth hospitality and gaming operations leader in Reno Nevada. They are seeking an Accounting Manager to serve as the financial anchor for their newly built Northern Nevada satellite hub.
Reporting directly to a remote, highly supportive corporate Controller based in Las Vegas, you will lead the financial administration for a sprawling regional footprint of popular, localized hospitality and gaming venues. If you are an experienced Gaming Audit Manager, Senior Casino Accountant, or a high-performing Accounting Supervisor looking for true operational autonomy, this is your next move.
The Ideal Candidate Profile
- The Gaming Blueprint: Minimum of 3+ years of audit, accounting, or supervisory experience explicitly within casino gaming or slot route operations. You must intimately understand gaming pace, internal regulatory controls, and slot data.
- Modern Tech Skills: You are highly proficient in modern spreadsheet architectures (expert Excel, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and have a clean, modern approach to data. Hands-on experience with modern cloud ERPs (NetSuite is a massive plus).
- Credentials: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is highly preferred. Must be able to successfully clear Nevada Gaming Registration requirements.
- Unmatched Health Benefits: 100% Employer-Paid Premium for the base Employee-Only Medical plan (Reno HMO Balance), alongside 100% Employer-Paid Dental coverage (Premier). Multiple tier upgrades (HMO and POS options) are available at highly competitive per-paycheck rates.
- Wealth Building: Immediate entry into a robust 401(k) retirement plan following entry requirements. Includes an automatic, 100% vested Safe Harbor matching contribution equal to 100% on your first 1% of compensation, plus 50% on the next 5%.

- Specialized Gaming & Slot Audit: Oversee, review, and support daily route and slot audit processes. You will ensure total compliance with Nevada regulatory requirements, internal controls, and company accounting standards.
- Banking & Cash Logistics: Coordinate the back-end infrastructure of local cash logistics, including tracking funds, managing bank deposit runs, variance resolution, and safeguarding company assets.
- Multi-Site Cash Reconciliations: Partner closely with the Count Team Manager and location teams to actively audit and reconcile cash variances, verify cash counts, and ensure accurate revenue reporting.
