We are seeking a meticulous and collaborative Accounting Clerk to join our team and support our daily financial and administrative operations. In this role, you will be the backbone of our transactional workflows—handling accounts payable, reconciling expenses, and ensuring an accurate, efficient month-end close. Beyond core bookkeeping, you will serve as a vital cross-functional resource, partnering with Human Resources to provide administrative support and assisting the management team. The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for numbers, a passion for organized record-keeping, and the communication skills to work seamlessly across departments.

salary: $21 - $24 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

• Execute precise data entry and coding for all financial transactions, ensuring alignment with internal accounting standards.
  
  
• Streamline accounts payable by reviewing, processing, and preparing subcontractor and vendor invoices for timely payment.
  
  
• Audit and reconcile employee expense statements to guarantee accuracy and policy compliance.
  
  
• Contribute to month-end closing procedures, helping meet tight deadlines and reporting requirements.
  
  
• Organize and maintain meticulous financial records to ensure data integrity and easy retrieval.
  
  
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and billing issues proactively.
