- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 4 years of payroll processing experience.
- Experience administering multi-state payroll and payroll tax requirements.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local wage and payroll regulations.
- Experience working with HRIS/payroll systems, preferably ADP.
- Understanding of union payroll and benefit administration is highly preferred.

Responsibilities
- Process weekly payrolls while ensuring compliance with company pay practices, time-off policies, and applicable federal, state, and local wage and hour regulations.
- Review and verify employee time and attendance records, resolving discrepancies with managers and employees as needed.
- Coordinate with Human Resources to ensure accurate processing of new hires, promotions, transfers, terminations, and payroll deductions.
- Maintain and update employee information within the HRIS/payroll system.
- Balance payroll data and review preliminary payroll reports for accuracy prior to final processing.
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, deduction issues, and payroll production concerns.
- Maintain payroll records in accordance with federal and state recordkeeping requirements.
- Stay current on payroll tax regulations, wage laws, and system updates impacting payroll administration.
- Generate standard payroll reports and create custom reports to support business needs.
- Serve as the primary liaison with ADP regarding payroll processing, system configurations, and issue resolution.
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and management in a professional and timely manner.
