Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Proven industry experience in medical billing and revenue cycle management. Surgical or specialized practice experience is highly desirable.
- Technical Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of technical medical billing terminology, EOB structures, and navigating diverse commercial payer portals.
- Out-of-Network Expertise: Solid exposure to out-of-network claims and an understanding of the No Surprises Act regulations.
- Software Skills: Familiarity with Nextech, Trizeto, and Google Suite (Sheets/Drive) is a major plus.
- Screening Requirement: Candidates must be willing to complete a background check, drug screening, and submit a short video digital cover letter during the interview process

Responsibilities
- Back-End Revenue Cycle: Manage the recovery of unpaid claims, identify billing bottlenecks, and take swift corrective action on accounts receivable follow-ups.
- Denials Management: Research, appeal, and resolve complex medical claim denials.
- Payer Navigation: Utilize various payer portals and interpret technical billing documentation, including Electronic Explanation of Benefits (EOB), to resolve payment issues.
- Specialized Regulations: Navigate out-of-network claims, authorizations, letters of agreement, and ensure strict compliance with the No Surprises Act.
- System Utilization: Leverage Nextech and Trizeto clearinghouse workflows to monitor claim statuses and clear backlogs
