Our client is seeking a sharp, process-driven Manufacturing Billing & AR Specialist to join our finance team in Charlotte. This role is a critical link in our supply chain, ensuring that everything leaving our production facility is accurately invoiced, tracked, and collected.

You will own the day-to-day revenue cycle, turning high-volume shipping logs, bills of lading, and purchase orders into clean, accurate invoices. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands how production schedules directly impact company cash flow. This is an onsite role.  Candidate must live within commutable distance to Pineville NC.  Relocation will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Generate and issue high-volume customer invoices daily based on confirmed shipping data, Bills of Lading (BOL), and signed packing slips.
• Cross-reference customer Purchase Orders (POs) against actual production outputs and shipped quantities to prevent short-shipment or over-shipment pricing disputes.
• Manage complex pricing matrices, customer-specific discounts, and freight/fuel surcharges inside the ERP system.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and process billing data through Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) portals to ensure major corporate retail/distributor clients receive digital invoices seamlessly.
• Research and resolve customer short-payments, deductions, and freight claims (e.g., chargebacks for late delivery or packaging compliance errors).
  
  
• Issue authorized Credit Memos or Debit Memos for returns (RMAs) and pricing adjustments following internal control guidelines.
  
  
• Review customer accounts for credit holds, releasing orders for production or shipping based on credit availability and payment history.
