We are a busy, specialized medical practice seeking a proactive Claims Analyst to help us manage insurance claims and recover outstanding balances. You don't need a medical billing degree to apply—just grit, great communication skills, and a tech-savvy mindset. We provide full on-the-job training. salary: $22 - $25 per hour

work hours: 8:30 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities
What You’ll Do:
- Keep track of aging reports for assigned insurance carriers
- Reach out to insurers to discuss settlements and resolve outstanding balances
- Review and respond to EOBs, denials, and rejected claims
- Collect, review, and appeal any unpaid or underpaid claims to make sure they’re handled quickly
- Record all appeal attempts in USMON software so everything’s easy to track
- Post payments accurately to keep accounts up-to-date
- Follow up with 30-35 claims per day
- Full on the job training is provided
- strong work ethic and a knack for staying organized
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and good overall computer skills
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and follow up on accounts in a timely way
Upon permanency, if monthly targets are achieved, there is a monthly bonus.
